How it works
You do not need to prepare everything before you contact us.
Start with a rough description of what you have. We will guide you through the rest.
Every project is agreed with you before the main work begins.
The process
Four straightforward steps.
The details vary by format, but the customer journey stays simple.
Tell us what you have
Email, call or use the enquiry form. Exact quantities are not necessary.
We assess and quote
We identify the formats, quantities and condition, then explain the recommended work, what you will receive and the price.
We digitise and organise
Your material is scanned, checked and organised as agreed.
We return everything
You receive the digital files and your original photographs, albums, slides and negatives back.
Getting material to us
Collection and return are available by arrangement.
We serve suitable projects across Devon, Dorset, Somerset and Cornwall. Once we have seen what you have, we will confirm availability, any collection charge and any minimum project value before booking.

Practical questions
What happens to your originals?
Do you start work as soon as you receive the collection?
Not on larger or unusual projects. We first confirm the agreed work and price with you.
Will my originals be altered?
Ordinary scanning is non-destructive. We will discuss any album handling or other intervention before doing it.
How do I receive the digital files?
Depending on project size, files can be supplied by secure download, USB or another agreed storage method.
How long does it take?
Turnaround depends on quantity, format and current workload. We confirm an expected timescale with the quote.
First step
Tell us what you have.
A rough description is usually enough for a useful first conversation.
