Common questions

Before you send your material.

Do I need to count every photograph?

No. A rough estimate or a photograph of the stack or box is enough to start.

What resolution do you use?

For ordinary printed photographs our standard service uses 600dpi. We will recommend something different only if there is a good reason.

Can you keep my photographs in their existing groups?

Yes. If envelopes, boxes or batches have meaning, we can mirror that organisation in the digital folders.

Can you restore damaged photographs too?

Yes. Restoration is optional and is quoted separately for the photographs that need it.

Not sure what you have?

Send us a photograph.

A quick phone picture of the box, album, slides or negatives is often enough for us to advise.
