Photo Scanning in West Dorset, Dorchester & Weymouth
Only Yesterday provides family photo scanning and digitising for West Dorset, including suitable projects from Dorchester and Weymouth. We are based near Axminster and can arrange collection and return by appointment.
A personal service for photographs, albums, slides and negatives
The starting point can be a small batch of photographs or a much larger inherited family collection. You do not need to sort the material into separate services first. Show us the boxes, albums, slide cases or negative sleeves as they are and we will help work out the sensible approach.
We can scan loose printed photographs, preserve the order and captions in albums, digitise mounted slides and negatives, and organise larger mixed collections into clear digital folders. Restoration, printing and framing are optional additions for selected photographs.
Collection and return in West Dorset
For suitable projects, we can arrange collection in the Dorchester and Weymouth area and return the originals when the work is finished. Collection is assessed after we have seen the material, because a small scanning job and several boxes of family photographs have very different travel economics. We will confirm availability and any charge or minimum project value before anything is booked.
No need to count everything first
A few phone photographs normally tell us far more than an exact count. If there are labels, envelopes, album captions or slide-box notes that matter, leave them in place; those existing groupings can help us preserve the context of the collection.
